Eran Chen AIA

Eran Chen, born in Israel in 1970, studied Architecture at Bezalel School of Art and Design in Jerusalem and received a B.Arch Diploma with Honors in 1996. His first projects were built in Israel shortly after his graduation and included private residences, retail, commercial and restaurant interiors. In 1999, shortly after moving permanently to New York City, Eran became a Design Principal at Perkins Eastman Architects, where he led some of the firm's most notable projects in such sectors as education, residential, healthcare and commercial development. A dynamic force in Manhattan's development market and the guiding energy behind multiple prominent projects in Manhattan, his presence is increasingly noted in the world of architecture and design. Eran is a guest Professor at Bezalel School of Art and Design and an advisor to many high-profile projects both nationally and internationally. With Eran's versatility and ingenuity, ODA is now involved with a wide range of projects including architecture, interior architecture, and furniture design. Gaining acknowledgment for imaginative and provocative concepts, Eran is recognized in publications such as Interior Design, The New York Times, Architectural Record, The Architect's Newspaper, and has recently drawn international attention from MARU Magazine, Concept Architecture Magazine, Frame and others.

P. Christian Bailey AIA LEED® AP

P. Christian Bailey studied Architecture at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. After graduating in 1995, Christian worked as a carpenter with design/build firms and then as an architect, working on housing and furniture projects. As a Principal with ODA, Christian has heightened his involvement in Manhattan's real estate development market. His ability to understand a client's initiatives, challenges, and range to find unique solutions for complex programming, enables creating progressive architecture of the highest level of design quality which is highlighted in his work at ODA. Christian's management skills and leadership are most notable in projects for various market sectors such as multi-family housing, hospitality, interior architecture, and education. Christian is a registered Architect in the State of New York, NCARB Certified, a member of the American Institute of Architects, and a LEED Accredited Professional. He resides in New York City with his wife and two children.

Ryoko Okada NCIDQ

Ryoko Okada received a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from Chiba University in Japan and a Master's degree in Interior Design from Pratt Institute in New York. Ryoko's experience is far reaching; working on a variety of projects in the United States as well as internationally. Her comprehensive professional experience includes work in market sectors such as hospitality, boutique retail design, and residential design. She is also a key team member for large-scale academic, civic, and commercial clients. Ryoko's emphasis for sophistication, function, and style has helped in creating custom finishes and furniture designs for many clients. Ryoko is a certified interior designer in the State of New York and one of the founding members of ODA. Among the many awarded and/or published projects in which she has participated are the renovation and restoration of the interior architecture of Radio City Music Hall, Equinox Restaurant, and Brasserie 8 1/2. She is currently working on several boutique hotel, luxury residential condominium and prominent private residence projects.

Eric Anderson

Eric Anderson received his Masters of Architecture degree from the University at Buffalo, and works on a diverse project types in NYC. With more than 12 years of experience, Eric brings a skillful technical and detail oriented perspective as a Project Architect for ODA. During time not spent practicing architecture, Eric pursues his interest in music as a composer and songwriter.

Christopher M. Berino

Christopher M. Berino holds a Bachelor of Architecture from New York Institute of Technology and also holds a degree in Finance.  An experienced Project Architect and Project Manager, Chris's has directed multiple projects in market sectors such as  Primary and Secondary Education, Multi-family Residential, Commercial and Hospitality.  Chris is knowledgeable and experienced in all phases of architectural design from planning through construction administration. His ability to understand building code and construction methods, and experience in coordinating work with NYC Department of Buildings and NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission, is essential throughout various phases of project management and administration. Chris is currently working on several mixed-use development projects.

Sharon Blaustein Allied ASID

Sharon Blaustein is a member of the interior design team at ODA and is working on a variety of residential and commercial projects including several restaurants and model apartments. Sharon received an Associate's degree with honors in Applied Science in Interior Design from The New York School of Interior Design and also holds Bachelor's degree in Business administration and accounting. Sharon is an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).

Keith Burns

Keith Burns received his Master of Architecture from the University of Cincinnati while working as a graduate teaching fellow, helping to mentor students and raise achievement as an educator. Keith is dedicated to the exchange of knowledge and continues his work as a visiting professor at the New York Institute of Technology and a visiting academic critic for Graduate and Undergraduate review at numerous higher education institutions including Harvard University Graduate School of Design, Syracuse University, and the University of Cincinnati. At ODA, Keith brings his zeal for academia into precision design development with meticulous attention to detail, resolving the design concept in terms of its architectural systems.

Lisa Del Percio SDA, LEED AP ID & C

Lisa Del Percio studied Liberal Arts with a Major in Art History at City University NY Queens College and Interior Design at New York School of Interior Design. Lisa has worked for renowned cultural institutions as well as architecture and design firms. As Operations Manager, and a part of ODA's management team, Lisa contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, helping to strengthen the working environment. A member of the Society for Design Administration, Lisa is also a LEED Accredited Professional.

Ruth L. Frommer

A life-long corporate accountant, Ruth L. Frommer joins ODA as Chief Financial Officer, and comes to us from the West End Day School where she was their Business Manager. In addition to managing corporate finances, Ruth also serves as Treasurer for several not-for-profit organizations. For ODA, Ruth oversees Corporate Finances as well as Human Resources. Ruth brings an expertise in organizational development and strategies and will help to elevate ODA's Management team. Ruth raised her four children in Englewood, NJ and now resides on the Upper West Side.

Karen Hsu

Karen Hsu designs with passion an open heart for communication. Working collaboratively and instinctively with clients, Karen creates environments tailored to the unique needs of every project, reflecting a zeal for simplicity. The execution of a clean and efficient nature of classical technique is reflected in her every attention to detail. By carving away excess, design are simple, elegant, vibrant and dignified. Karen received a BArch degree in Taiwan and her Master's degree in Interior Design from Pratt Institute in New York. Karen's work is extends to varied project types such as institutional, corporate interiors, health care and multi-family residential. Karen Hsu adds another dimension to ODA's high end residential design.

Kristina Kesler

Dongyoung Kim

Dongyoung Kim graduated from the Cooper Union Irwin Chanin School of Architecture while studying under the tutelage of Raymond Abraham and Lebbeus Woods. As Dongyoung first entered into the profession of architecture, he initially began working on traditional brownstone developments in Brooklyn. He has since developed to become an integral team member to large-scale project work in sectors such as residential, hospitality, cultural and retail development. As one of the original members at ODA and an associate of the firm, Dongyoung possesses the skills and ability to maneuver within project constraints, turning progressive design ideas into solutions and practical experience. Dongyoung has been elemental within the firm's philosophy and is further motivated through the firm's concepts, taking a holistic approach to architecture and design.

Kyriakos Kyriakou

Kyriakos Kyriakou earned his graduate degree in architecture and engineering from the School of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens. He has also studied at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Paris La Villette  under the Erasmus scholarship, where he prepared his graduate thesis on the notion of Transition. Kyriakos, under the Varangis Honor Scholarship of 2009, received a post-professional degree in Advanced Architectural Design from the Graduate School of Architecture Planning and Preservation of Columbia University in New York, while awarded the William Kinne travel grant. Kyriakos has worked as an architectural designer in Paris and New York, and is a licensed architect in Greece where he has spent time working in Athens. As part of a joint effort, Kyriakos won first prize in the competition for the redesigning of the entrance of the city of Ancient Olympia in Peloponnese. At ODA, Kyriakos  is an integral team member who's responsible for leading a cooperative discourse and academic exchange on design principles, and theoretical foundations stimulating the dialogue for design study enhancing the collaborative process.

Sunggu Lee AIA CCCA LEED AP

Sunggu Lee, a senior associate of ODA, has 15 years of experience working on a variety of architectural and planning projects, and is a specialist in residential and hospitality design. As a building code specialist, he is responsible for staying "up-to-date" on all NYC building code and zoning regulations. He is responsible for answering all staff questions regarding code compliances, reviewing the plans and conducting feasibility studies. He is also a Certified Construction Contract Administrator. Sunggu holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from Korea University and a Master of Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Kris Levine

Kris Levine received his undergraduate degree at New York Institute of Technology, focusing his efforts on modern architecture and the modern movement of the early 20th century. After completing his bachelors, Kris went on to receive his Masters of Architecture II from Syracuse University Florence Italy. Kris started at his work experience with Beckhard Richlan Szerbaty & Associates, a descendent firm of Marcel Breuer. There he gained first-hand knowledge of modernism & the legacy of Marcel Breuer while working on various high end health care facilities, institutional and residential buildings. Kris has also worked on various high-end residential and commercial interiors in New York, California and Tokyo with Mr. Yutaka Takiura AIA NCARB. Kris is an Adjunct Professor at New York Institute of Technology, School of Architecture and a Project Architect at ODA, working on several prominent residential and hospitality projects.

Côme Ménage

Côme Ménage earned his graduate degree in Architecture from the Ecole Nationale Superieure d'Architecture Paris Val de Seine. He also studied at the University of the Arts in Berlin under the Erasmus Scholarship, where he encountered many different cultures. Building on his interests, Côme started his professional career in Shanghai and Beijing, earning experience in architectural programs ranging from housing and offices to public exhibition conference centers. Arriving in New York City in 2009, Côme earned a Master's Degree in Urban design from the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, Columbia University. He was the recipient of the Lucille Smyser Lowenfish Prize for best project in the last semester and worked as a teaching fellow under Mario Gooden for the Advanced studio 'Parametri Cities 1.0 and 2.0'. At ODA, he uses his advanced digital techniques to both accelerate processes and allow for a greater flexibilities in terms of complex systems. He is currently working on a several residential projects in New York City.

Carolina Moscoso

Carolina Moscoso is a young architect as well as an avid amateur photographer. After  moving away from home at an early age to  study architecture at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Lisbon, Portugal, Carolina took time to travel extensively developing a photographic journal of her experiences.  Some notable  voyages she's made include important volunteer efforts as she spent time with a Spanish medical team that traveled along the Moroccan Atlas mountains to aid local villagers. Other photographic journeys include documenting her brother as he entered the  Absa Cape Epic Magical and Untamed African MTB Race which takes place over the western cape of South Africa. Ms. Moscoso's adventurous spirit is evident in her creative process as she puts this aspect to test in theory and  her problem-solving abilities. Carolina also focuses efforts on her artwork and illustration, and attends workshops dedicated to architecture and the arts.  Since joining ODA, Carolina is honing these talents and working collaboratively on such projects types as hospitality, luxury residential condominiums and private residences as well as model making. Having attended a residency program at the School of Visual Arts for illustration and  the study of spatial relationships and composition, Carolina continues developing in her love for the pictographic and technical arts. Showing much talent and initiative, she is destined to become one of the future design leaders within the community.

Yaarit Sharoni

Yaarit Sharoni graduated Summa Cum Laude from the City College of New York, Bernard and Anne Spitzer School of Architecture, Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture, and holds a Bachelor of Architecture diploma. Skilled as an architectural photographer, creating persuasive compositions of building interiors and exteriors, and along with her involvement as a teaching assistant for a first year master class program in materials and construction, Yaarit is an integral team member for ODA on one of the largest private apartment residences in the country. Her studies in architecture and urban design as a changing force of social, economical and political patterns and processes help to shape the theories which are applied in her practical experience. As a student, Yaarit was the recipient of many awards including the Bernard L. Spanier Scholarship for outstanding achievement in academics and design and the Matthew W. Delgaudio Award presented by the New York Society of Architects. Yaarit's recent project work includes residential, cultural and mixed-use developments.

Elizabeth Snow

Elizabeth Snow Graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northwestern University with degrees in Mathematics and Art History and received her Master of Architecture degree from the Rhode Island School of Design. Liz's love for different cultures and languages is emphasized in the conceptual and experimental environments she creates, but her professional experience has also imparted a firm knowledge of the realities of building within New York City. As part of the team at ODA, Elizabeth will focus on project types including multi-family residential buildings and large- scale commercial developments. Outside of her architectural pursuits, Liz enjoys building electronic instruments and sound installations, creating new acoustic environments.

Juan Roque Urrutia

Juan Roque Urrutia holds a Master of Architecture Degree from ETSA, San Sebastian and under the Erasmus Scholarship attended the Potsdam School of Architecture in Germany. Juan has worked as an architectural assistant at Jeanne Dekkers Architectuur in Delft, and brings an emergent perspective to ODA. Juan's foundation is based in an interdisciplinary approach to architecture and applies this approach when working with teams in develop large-scale projects and submission work for international competitions.

Soo Bum You

Soo Bum You holds a MArch Degree from Harvard University, Graduate School of Design and BArch from Korea University in South Korea. Soo Bum was awarded the Tai Soo Kim Travel Fellowship in 2009 where he had the opportunity to visit Valencia, Spain. Soo Bum interests are held in the literary interpretation of Medieval architecture including castle and city wall, and in developing new poetic architectural structures. Soo Bum started his professional career in South Korea where he gained experience working on residential and cultural project types.

Zac Zeller

Zachary Zeller earned his Master of Architecture degree from Louisiana Tech University in 2011, with his Masters thesis focusing on a model for flexible, modular public housing for Post-Katrina New Orleans. Upon graduation, Zac traveled to Vienna, Austria as recipient of the 2010 Louisiana A.I.A. Travel Fellowship, where he studied the Viennese model for social housing. Since joining ODA, Zac's focus is concentrated on multi-family, high-end residential work within New York City.
